Avery Row Stay & Play Mat

5 (6)
The BubsNest Verdict

This reversible, machine-washable play mat looks gorgeous in your living room and provides comfortable cushioning, though the premium price and limited size options give some parents pause. Perfect for style-conscious parents who want a play space that blends with their decor and don't mind spending more, but skip it if you need a larger mat or want better value for money.

⚠️Check the dimensions carefully before buying—many parents are surprised by how small it is relative to the price point.

“Polarising opinions on the Avery Row Stay & Play Mat's quality and versatility”

6.4

Decent

The Avery Row Stay & Play Mat receives mixed reviews from UK parents. Many praise its generous size, soft fabrics, and handy fold for storage, but others report quality problems like loose threads and difficulty keeping it clean. Some find it an ideal soft play area for babies, while others struggle with the mat sliding on floors or feeling too thin for older, more active toddlers. Overall, it seems to work best for families with younger infants in smaller spaces, but may not suit all needs.

Ce que les parents adorent

Large, soft play areaParents appreciate the mat's generous 150x100cm size and plush, comfortable fabrics that create a cosy play space for babies.
Convenient fold and storageThe mat folds up compactly to stow away when not in use, making it easy to move between rooms or take on trips.
Suitable for younger babiesSeveral parents find the Avery Row mat ideal for providing a safe, soft space for newborns and infants to play and explore.

Bon à savoir

Quality issuesSome buyers report problems with loose threads, staining, and the mat not holding up well over time, especially with frequent use and washing.
Sliding on floorsA number of parents note the mat tends to slide around on smooth floors, making it less stable and secure for active play.
Not suitable for older toddlersAs children grow bigger and more energetic, the mat may feel too thin and not provide enough cushioning, according to some users.

  • Parents seeking a soft, portable play area for occasional use

Pourrait ne pas convenir à

  • Households with very active toddlers who may outgrow the mat's thickness
